八月盛夏，活力四射！加拿大中文電台 FM94.7 每年都榮幸獲邀參加由 Calgary Dragon Boat Society (卡加利龍舟會) 主辦的龍舟競賽，並擔任媒體宣傳夥伴。今年的盛事已於 8 月 8 至 10 日在卡加利的 North Glenmore Park 圓滿舉行，吸引超過 70 支隊伍齊聚一堂，展現龍舟文化的獨特魅力與激烈競渡的震撼場面。

本台三位同事 ～ 陳家燕、黃慧聰 與 Cathy，更親身下水參賽，以行動支持社區籌款活動，為這場熱血盛事增添滿滿意義與感動！

Fairchild Radio FM94.7 was once again honored to be invited to the Calgary Dragon Boat Festival, serving as a media partner.  This year’s spectacular event took place from August 8 to 10 at Calgary’s scenic North Glenmore Park, bringing together over 70 teams to showcase the unique charm of dragon boat culture and the thrilling excitement of the races.  Three of our colleagues — Terry Chan,  Brian Wong, and Cathy Du — even took to the water themselves, paddling alongside the competitors to support a community fundraising initiative, adding both heartfelt meaning and unforgettable memories to this exhilarating celebration.

你知道嗎？一艘龍舟由 20 名槳手組成，船頭設有鼓手，船尾則有掌舵人。如今， 龍舟競賽已遍及全球 40 多個國家，並成為加拿大發展最快的運動之一。 這項水上運動之所以魅力無窮，不僅因為它需要高度的團隊合作精神，還因為隊員之間，以及與其他參賽隊伍之間能建立深厚的友誼。參與者需要具備耐力與敏捷，才能在賽事中表現出色。
